About Us
Promoting the sport of show skiing since 1984
The Pewaukee Lake Water Ski Club is a non-competitive water ski show team - nicknamed the Pewaukee Gators - that provides weekly, free family entertainment to the Pewaukee, greater Milwaukee and Lake Country communities.

The non-profit organization was founded in 1984, and built on a philosophy of safe and wholesome family entertainment.

Since then, we have entertained tens of thousands of guests over the years, and are looking forward to the next 40 years!

Each year, the club holds several ski and adaptive ski clinics, as well as the Gator8s, a barefoot figure 8 endurance tournament

Our Story
Our origin story begins in 1984.
An era of big hair, big air, and bright colors. When water skiing exhibitions and competitions were in prime time on a little cable TV network called ESPN.

One day, a classified in a local Lake Country newspaper appeared: Anyone interested in forming a water ski club on Pewaukee Lake should meet at the beach at the specified date and time.

That meeting led to the club incorporating in 1986, with its non-profit mission of promoting the sport of water skiing through instruction, exhibitions, shows, tournaments and other community activities.
And we're proud to carry on that tradition 40 years later.
